I remember those feelings when I became Scoutmaster. I had a four or five page list of things I wanted to accomplish and couldn’t understand why it was all so hard.

Over time I learned a few things:

1. You can’t do it all. Learn to prioritize. Don’t take on more than you can successfully accomplish.</description>

        <description>The troop historian can be a pretty cool job.  In one troop I was in, the historian was they guy who carried around the camera during campouts and took pictures (we had an inexpensive 35mm camera).  He also managed the photo albums that held the photos.  It was a highly sought-after job.</description>
